University of Liverpool epidemiologist gives evidence to House of Lords on childhood vaccination decline

Dr Dan Hungerford from the University of Liverpool gave evidence to a House of Lords inquiry on 16th March 2026, examining the decline in childhood vaccination uptake in England and the widening inequalities behind it. His evidence drew on collaborative research across the Liverpool City Region, including the ReCITE project, and also acknowledged the contribution of community partners including the Lighthouse CIT.
