NGMC at Liverpool Lighthouse, in association with GMIA, is excited to announce the PPL-sponsored Songwriting & Production Camp 2026.

What is the Songwriting & Production Camp?

The PPL-sponsored Songwriting & Production Camp is a music and songwriting opportunity for Advanced and Intermediary Gospel Music artists in the UK.  This 2-day songwriting event will connect the UK Gospel community with established music artists and producers to write and create collaboratively towards future projects. We will be building community, giving access to studio space, providing opportunities for UK artists to create and build together.

There are two programmes available:

INTERMEDIARY PROGRAMME

for Emerging Artists

 

Friday 24th and Saturday 25th April 2026


Liverpool Lighthouse

Liverpool

ADVANCED PROGRAMME

for Developing Artists

 

Saturday 7th and Monday 9th March 2026

 

Premises Studios

Hackney, London

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Intermediary Programme (Emerging Artists), you must have:

​

Released at least 2 songs on a Digital Service Provider (DSP)

 

A professional music video (demonstrating investment in your craft)

 

A live performance video

 

An active social media presence

 

A listing, mention or play on at least one UK Gospel Music platform: AStepFWD, Premier Gospel, Affinity Xtra, UCB Radio, Gospel Hydration, Visions TV, Heartsong Live

 

GMIA membership (£5/month)

 

 

To be eligible for the Advanced Programme (Developing Artists), you must meet ALL Intermediary Programme criteria PLUS:

​

Have recorded an album

 

Been nominated or recognised at a UK Gospel Music Award (Premier Gospel, AStepFWD, GX Awards)

 

A profile/write-up on an internet platform (editorial, interview, blog)

What's Included

Two days of intensive songwriting and music creation

 

Collaboration with established Gospel artists and producers

 

Access to professional studio space

 

Community building with fellow UK Gospel artists

 

Opportunity to develop songs for future projects

 

Industry mentorship and guidance
