WELL-BEING & HOSPITALITY MANAGER

Hours: 24 - 32 hours a week (some evening and weekend work)

Salary £22,000 to 25,000 per annum

Job Summary:

1. To manage all health and wellbeing projects for families and the over 60s, focusing on improving health, finances, employability skills, family relationships and reducing isolation through improved inter-family relationships.

 

2. To coordinate the team that runs all food programmes in and from our Bliss Café, focusing on generating sales, serving healthy meals, providing emergency food as needed and reducing all forms of waste.

Main duties across both project areas

 

- Manage both projects efficiently, ensuring that monitoring and evaluation are completed, and delivery targets are met.

 

- Line manage all associated staff, volunteers, identifying where trainings are needed and supporting development of the team

 

- Work with HR towards recruiting facilitators as needed to support all programmes

 

- Prepare and coordinate activity timetables across all programmes

 

- Ensure beneficiaries are provided with the best service in all areas, working with staff to achieve desired outcomes

 

- Work with marketing team and senior management to ensure all programmes are well marketed and promoted to appropriate beneficiary groups

 

- Work with senior management to ensure that both projects are run within budget and where possible generating income to support sustainability

 

Food program main duties and responsibilities

 

- Maintain food control management, stock rotation and deployment of food.

- Maintain good relationship with existing surplus food providers and develop new partners.

 

- Plan and organise weekly collection of food items from multiple outlets.

 

- Work closely with the venue manager towards servicing venue events

 

- Create a positive environment that is warm and welcoming, ensure high standards with equipment and furnishings

 

- Family & Over 60s well-being program main duties and responsibilities

 

- To coordinate programme activities, facilitators, partners and volunteers whilst ensuring targeted outcomes are delivered.

 

- Recruit families & over 60s coordinate a programme of activities including trips, workshops, advice surgeries, and well-being activity events.

 

- Be involved in networking closely with relevant agencies, support workers and other community groups that targeted families and over 60s.

 

- Coordinate employment ready workshops working with Job centre and other relevant agencies.

 

Programme Management

- Deliver staff training where appropriate

 

- Keep abreast of organisational policies and procedures and ensure they are followed

 

Additional Duties:

To be familiar with, uphold and work within organisational ethos, policies and procedures.

 

The ability to deliver or cover sessions would be an advantage.
