Reception & Admin assistant
RESPONSIBILITIES:
RECEPTION: To oversee the effective and efficient running of Liverpool Lighthouse’s reception and front of house function, providing a friendly and helpful reception information, postal and switchboard service, ensure all enquiries are dealt with efficiently and effectively
ESOL: Assist the language centre coordinator with all necessary administration tasks for enrolment, teaching and progress of student throughout the programme
ADMIN: to provide adhoc admin support to projects as reasonably required
Part Time: 16 hours / week – flexible working

Main Responsibilities:

Ticket checking on the door

Guiding customers to their seats and advising on questions

Watching out for any hazards

Keeping an eye on crowd movement

Setting up the venue prior to the event

Guiding and liaising with customers with specific needs

Friendly, welcoming and engaging
Skills and Abilities:

Food Project - Volunteer role at a glance:
Creating food packs from donated items within the Liverpool Lighthouse for families / shielding and older people in need.
As a volunteer driver around the Anfield and surrounding areas you are required to be reliable, friendly and attentive for the community.
Main Responsibilities:

Making sure all food items are fit for consumption when needed
-
Creating food packs where required
-
Making sure the van is clear and clean (to help prevent the spread of COVID) before driving
-
Loading the van with food parcels
-
Taking care of all products and making sure cold foods are kept cool
-
Friendly, welcoming and engaging with beneficiaries at a safe distance (building relationships)

Driving Safely
-
Cleaning the van after driving route
Skills and Abilities:

Clean UK driving license
-
Confident in knowing the social distancing measures to help prevent the spread of COVID-19

Safe and courteous driver
-
Able to use a satnav with ease
-
Personable with great communication skills
-
Able to take initiative and use common sense
-
Can stay calm under pressure

Commitment to helping individuals and teams
Additional Skills
-
Having a Food Hygiene Certificate is desired but not essential

Experience of driving a van
