CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
DESCRIPTION
The COO will work with the board of trustees and his/her team to maintain the mission to demonstrate the love of Christ to local communities through transformational programmes that engage with around 16,000 every year.
Beneficiaries include poor families, hundreds of young people, asylum seekers, refugees, vulnerable elderly and other disadvantaged groups. Must enjoy working in a multiracial team.
The COO will lead the drive to generate essential income to maintain financial sustainability and increase the contribution of Liverpool Lighthouse to shaping of society, raising its public profile. The right person will work with the Board to develop our 6-acre wooded parkland in Knotty Ash.
Salary: £38,000 - £43,000 per Annum (pro-rata)

YOUTH PROJECT MANAGER
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage and drive the delivery of the Liverpool Lighthouse’s Youth Connect project — planning, organising, supervising, and gathering impact measurements data, then analysing and reporting results to stakeholders.

To work closely with the Love & Joy church congregation towards the spiritual enrichment of the young people.

Build with others a good wholesome environment into which young people are attracted to participate in various skill developing, wellbeing and safety providing activities.

Line manage staff, sessional youth workers, facilitators, and volunteers—involvement in recruitment, supervision, appraisals, and training
-
Salary: £21,000 – £23,000 (full time equivalent)

Food Project - Volunteer role at a glance:
Creating food packs from donated items within the Liverpool Lighthouse for families / shielding and older people in need.
Tuesdays and Thursdays between 10 am - 5pm flexible
As a volunteer driver around the Anfield and surrounding areas you are required to be reliable, friendly and attentive for the community.
Main responsibilities:

Making sure all food items are fit for consumption when needed

Creating food packs where required

Making sure the van is clear and clean (to help prevent the spread of COVID) before driving

Loading the van with food parcels

Taking care of all products and making sure cold foods are kept cool

Friendly, welcoming and engaging with beneficiaries at a safe distance (building relationships)

Driving Safely

Cleaning the van after driving route
Skills and Abilities:

Clean UK driving license
