Liverpool Lighthouse has been awarded a grant of £2000 from the Mayoral Neighbourhood Fund from the Liverpool City Region. The grant will go towards the food programme, enabling Liverpool Lighthouse to keep serving free lunch for the community and run our weekly community pantry. We are very grateful for the grant which will make a huge difference to people and families struggling with the cost-of-living crisis.
The food programme at Liverpool Lighthouse is an essential service that provides free lunch to the community and weekly access to a fresh, healthy food via our community pantry.
Lunch is provided Tuesday to Thursdays. Tuesday - Wednesday at 12pm and Thursday from 1pm. The Pantry is on every Wednesday from 12:30pm - 2pm.
The grant will ensure that we be able to continue to provide much-needed support to the Anfield and Everton community.
Special thank you to Cllrs Billy Marratt and Lena Simic for choosing Liverpool Lighthouse for this award.
We would also like to thank our other food programme supporters over the past 12 months, including Tesco, Asda, the Steve Morgan Foundation, Feeding Liverpool and Liverpool City Council.
Before and after the free lunch community members can join in our arts-based wellbeing sessions with a variety of activities or talk to advisors who can help with benefits and housing advice. For more on the programme we have for the community and youth check the schedule below and join us soon!
