Liverpool Lighthouse is now in the full swing of autumn activity and we reflect on our summer programme put together for our young people and our local community. 120 activities from sports, cooking, music, writing, drama, dance and singing were enjoyed by all. Each week young people created a performance, which they shared in our auditorium for family and friends. This has inspired weekly drama and music sessions at Liverpool Lighthouse, which started last month and will continue. Here are some images and videos from the event.
We would like to thank HAF, Steve Morgan Foundation and Liverpool One Foundation for making this possible. On the 25th of October we are bringing free half term activities related to drama and music for children between the age of 8 - 11 and 11 - 13.
Drama week is a creative, fun week to develop skills and make new friends. The group develop a performance through creativity, imagination, storytelling, improvisation, and performing arts skills which is shared at the end of the week.
Music week is a fun-filled week of musical activity including singing, recording sounds, beat boxing, rap, making music and creating a song which culminates in the sharing of a track at the end of the week and recording to take home.
