Levi’s® Music Project’s exploration of Liverpool would be nothing without the expertise of its regional partners: LIVERPOOL FC, SOUND CITY and LIVERPOOL LIGHTHOUSE.
Each partner represents the passion of this city’s young people on a different level: Liverpool FC are one of the most celebrated and historical football teams on the planet, Sound City is the leading independent new music festival in Britain, and Liverpool Lighthouse excels at a local level, providing an arts space for disaffected youth.
Our Liverpool project centres around one very special arts space on the north side of the city: Liverpool Lighthouse. Opened in 1998 as a place for excluded young people to express themselves through the arts, it has transformed into a shining beacon for the city’s youth culture, playing host to workshops, gigs, festivals, education programs and mentoring.
