Homebaked Homes – coming soon!

  • Are you or is anyone you know interested in hearing about living on Oakfield Road, Anfield - in a property with an affordable rent that you are both tenant and landlord of?

  • Are you curious to hear why Homebaked has chosen the co-operative approach?

  • Or perhaps you’d like to know about future plans for homes and workspaces in the Anfield-Everton neighbourhood?

Interested? Then read on….

Homebaked’s story so far: who are we?

Whether you live locally or have followed developments in Anfield over the last few years, Homebaked Community Land Trust may be a name you are familiar with. Homebaked was set up and is run by a community group with a mission to dynamically improve the neighbourhood around Oakfield Road to make it a wonderful place to live, work & play.

Homebaked is taking the lead in transforming the neighbourhood with support from like-minded partner organisations – and the next part of the plan is to bring a row of terraced houses, at the Anfield LFC football stadium end of the road, back to life.

Involving local people is central to our CLT approach and so Homebaked has already involved a group of local residents, with an interest in the terrace, to come up with a design for eight new homes to rent.

So, what's next?

Work will start on site within a few months and the homes are scheduled to be ready by June 2022; Homebaked aims to lease the scheme to a housing co-operative - so that people renting the homes have a real commitment to the local community.

Here’s where YOU come in…

We have scheduled two Zoom events – one to showcase what our model is & what it means and the second to see how we can collectively develop the plan. We would love you to join us on Thursday 4th March 2021 and Thursday 11th March 2021 from 7-8.30pm.

We are keen to hear from as many people as possible; your involvement & contributions are important to us, so to book onto one or both sessions – or to find out more - simply email us at info@homebaked.org.uk

If you can't or don't want to attend the Zoom events, you can still ask questions or give your views in other ways by emailing us at the same address.

We really hope you will join us for the next exciting stage in our development & help us in #gettingtheterracedone!
