The Keep-Warm project was has been funded by Community Foundation. The provided vital winter support for older vulnerable people within the community, enabling and empowering them to take important steps that could save their lives during the winter months. We provided energy saving advice, 63% said it was the first time they have accessed help from vital service providers. A committed team of volunteers phoned and visited 30 of the most vulnerable with winter packs, which included radiators, blanket, food hamper and hot food. Our Keep Warm Project has also been nominated for an award. The eighth Spirit of Merseyside Awards will be taking place in November this year and the Liverpool Lighthouse Keep Warm project was short-listed.

This project is really fine because i feel that i am useful for some one who has not got access to many facility as well as isolated from society because of age, illness and financial difficulties. i proud of myself that i can give little help and hope to this class of society.
I hope as well to be able to work and cooperate to this job in the future.
