Partnering with Liverpool Lighthouse:Liverpool Lighthouse, the UK’s first dedicated Urban Gospel Arts Centre, boasts a 430 ranked tiered seat auditorium and facilities that are home to a range of exciting inclusion, educational, and diversionary projects that use arts as a tool for engaging, developing and enhancing the skills of community members.
Our projects and community activities, which include an alternative education programme for excluded youth and tea dances for the over fifties, reach 100s of people each week. We endeavour to meet the needs of the community and thus transform their lives. We touch the lives of adults with learning difficulties, elderly in isolation, disaffected youth, homeless, people affected by alcohol or drugs, children and families. Although the projects themselves receive funding, this funding does not allow us to invest in the Liverpool Lighthouse building. In an effort to be self sufficient, Liverpool Lighthouse hires out its venue and office space to generate revenue which in turn supports the diverse community programme. Unfortunately, there is a shortfall and we are not generating enough income to cover the maintenance, regular cleaning and high overheads of the building. In order to achieve this we want larger organisations and businesses to share in the work we do by supporting us in any way that they can. We are delighted when organisations can offer the time of their skilled employees, in kind donations, advice or when they choose to use our venue for their regular or annual meetings or events. Your help and support could transform someone’s life. Please do not hesitate to contact Sheila McCormack or Henry Keesz on 0151 476 2342 for more information regarding sponsorship and partnership opportunities. |
