Love and Joy Ministries are celebrating 30 years of ministry in Liverpool this week and to mark the occasion we will be holding an exciting variety of events at Liverpool Lighthouse.
Beginning on Friday 8th October at 7pm, we will be hosting an event specifically aimed at young people; Youth Connect Live, featuring Christian electro-rock group, Golddigger. With a fresh, edgy sound and gritty, challenging lyrics that resonate with young and old audiences alike, Golddigger will make this a night not to be missed!
Following this, on Saturday 9th October at 7.30pm, is a performance of Love Sax and all that Jazz; a thought provoking, humorous gospel play, which deals with the various aspects of love relationships. Written by MOBO nominated gospel artiste Alan Charles, the production features an entertaining mix of comedy, music and spoken word.
Finally, the Convention Celebration itself will be held at 11am on Sunday 10th October, and will be a service of thanksgiving for 30 years of ministry in Liverpool. Worship will be led by our very own Love & Joy Gospel Choir and we are honoured to welcome Bishop James Jones as our guest preacher.
